Any middle or high school student attending an accredited school who demonstrates a financial or personal need is welcome to apply to the Golden Dreams Project.

No. A parent or guardian, teacher, school counselor, or other school official may submit a Referral Form on behalf of a student. Students are also welcome to submit a referral themselves.

Parents, students, teachers, school counselors, and other school officials can complete the Referral Form on our website. Once it's submitted, a team member will reach out within 24 hours to answer your questions, explain how Golden Dreams works, and share everything you need to know about Shopping Days.

After you submit the Referral Form, one of our team members will reach out within 24 hours to answer your questions and share the date, time, and location of your Shopping Day. About two weeks before your Shopping Day, you'll receive a link to sign up for your preferred shopping time.

No! There is absolutely no cost to participate in the Golden Dreams Project.

Every student will have the opportunity to shop for a free formal outfit, including a dress or suit. We also offer shoes and jewelry while supplies last.

Please note: Golden Dreams cannot guarantee that every size or style will be available.

Absolutely! You may bring up to two guests with you. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Yes! Everything you choose on your Shopping Day is yours to keep. There is no expectation that you return your formalwear. If you'd like to donate it back to Golden Dreams after your event, we'd be incredibly grateful, but please don't feel obligated.
